Mane Hook-Up was launched in September 2019 with the aim of helping people find local hairdressers and stylists who specialise in managing afro hair. Even though there are over 2 million Afro-Caribbean people living in the UK, it is still difficult for them to find hairstylists and salons. So Mane Hook-Up was created as a simple solution to their problem.
